Dana King, DVM
Dr. King is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. King has been practicing at Northside Vet Clinic for nearly 40 years. Dr. King prides himself in providing state of the art care and treatment options for dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, exotics, and farm animals.
While he has devoted nearly four decades to veterinary medicine, Dr. King will tell you he hasn’t “worked” a day since graduation. “When you love what you do, it isn’t work” he says. In fact, he volunteers his time as the Clark County 4H vet each year! In his free time, Dr. King enjoys traveling with his wife, Judy, and piloting an airplane (he earned his pilot’s license a few years ago).
Fun fact: Dr. King was in the OSU marching band and participates in the alumni march every year on opening day! Go Bucks!

Jeff Schuman, DVM, MS
Dr. Schumann is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, Wright State University, and the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his medical and surgical internship at Medvet Medical Center in Columbus. Dr. Schumann knew he wanted to be a veterinarian when he was just six years old and remains dedicated to providing the most progressive veterinary care available. His particular interests are allergic dermatitis, endoscopy, general surgery. and advanced orthopedic surgery. In his spare time, you’ll most likely find Dr. Schumann hanging out with his family, participating in sports, or watching his kids athletic events.
Fun Fact: Dr. Schumann is a motorcycle enthusiast who participates in the annual toy-run!

Michelle Mack, DVM, BS
Dr. Mack is a graduate of the Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. She decided early in life that she wanted to help animals and followed her dream to become a veterinarian. Dr. Mack’s interests include general care and surgery for cats, dogs and pocket pets, as well as ultrasound technology for cats and dogs. She is passionate about providing less stress to animals during their visits.
In her spare time, you’ll find Dr. Mack walking the trails of her woods, or hanging out at the pond with her husband, daughter and menagerie of pets.
Fun Fact: Dr. Mack has a 22 year old turtle named Chuck!

Alicia Griffin, DVM,MS
Dr. Griffin is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She decided to become a veterinarian at 9 years old. Her particular interests in small animals is general surgery, internal medicine, and ultrasound technology.
In her spare time, you’ll find Dr. Griffin hanging out with her husband and young son, most likely at the horse barn.
Fun Fact: Dr. Griffin has completed several half marathons and is known to be Dr. King’s all time favorite hire!

Kati Stevens, DVM, MS
Dr. Stevens is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at 8 years old. Her interests are small animal preventive care and internal medicine, and general practice for goats, sheep and cattle. Dr. Stevens believes trips to the vet shouldn’t be stressful and will even come to your home to provide non-diagnostic care! In her spare time, you’ll find Dr. Stevens hanging out with her fiancé Justin, and her two dogs.
Fun Fact: Dr. Stevens is an avid sports fan who participates in a fantasy football league each year!

Meghan Brown, DVM
Dr. Brown completed her undergraduate studies in Pennsylvania before coming to Ohio to become a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She decided around 6 years of age that she was going to become a veterinarian. Dr. Brown is a small animal practitioner with interests in preventive medicine, internal medicine, dental care and general surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys Netflix, reading, taking long walks, and hanging out with her boyfriend and her cat named Blue.
Fun Fact: Dr. Brown got engaged in 2021 and is planning her wedding!

Samantha Praither, DVM
Dr. Praither is a graduate of St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine located in Grenada, West Indies. She decided to become a veterinarian at 19 years old. Her particular interests are in small animal general surgery and internal medicine. She would soon like to incorporate large animals into her career to ultimately become a mixed animal practitioner. In her spare time, you'll find Dr. Praither watching crime documentaries on Netflix and spending time with her husband and dogs.
Fun Fact: Dr. Praither originally started college studying to be a Speech Language Pathologist.
